Schools Closed - Plan B

While students are not scheduled to be in school this Thursday due to conferences, staff members will follow a “Plan B” day. View a detailed overview of Inclement Weather Plan B. Facilities/Rentals: All district facilities are closed and facility rental is cancelled. JCPRD: is OPEN at Forest View Elementary, Indian Creek Elementary, Meadow Lane Elementary, Mahaffie Elementary, Pleasant Ridge Elementary and Sunnyside Elementary for families who are pre-registered. Conferences: If you have any conferences scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 13, your child's teacher will be in contact to reschedule those conferences, either virtually or in-person, by the end of the day on Friday, Feb. 21, 2025. Activities/Athletics: All elementary/middle school activities and athletics are cancelled. Decisions on high school athletics/activities will be communicated by 1 p.m. on Thursday. Spelling Bee: The Spelling Bee will be held on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025 at Santa Fe Trail Middle School, but the event will delayed by two hours. Students should report at 9:45 a.m. for check-in and the event will begin at 10 a.m.
